37th Annual Kent State Commemoration
In Memory of the victims of May 4, 1970

There are two kinds of events on the Kent State campus:
* May 2-3, a symposium on Democracy and Peace, featuring keynote speech by Tom Hayden (May 3, 7:30 p.m.)
* May 3-4, "The First Casualty Of War is TRUTH" commemoration ceremonies, featuring keynote speech by Cindy Sheehan (May 4, noon).

Erie Peace Initiative plans rally to protest President Bush’s
planned veto of the Iraq Accountability Act.

Erie Peace Initiative supporters plan to gather Wednesday, May 2nd beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Federal building in Erie to protest President Bush’s planned veto of Congress’s vote for a timetable for withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

"Darkness Visible" - Holocaust Drama Subject of Reading, Discussion

“Darkness Visible,” a dramatic play that follows men forced to work in the crematorium at Auschwitz, will receive a staged reading by Penn State Behrend faculty and students on Wednesday, May 2.

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the college’s Studio Theatre and be followed by an open discussion. Both are free and refreshments will be provided.
