You can help with the planning and promotion of this campaign to pass HR 676 for single payer health care for all in the Congress.

• The W. PA. Coalition for Single Payer Health Care meets on Tuesday, November 27th at 7 pm, Sxith Presbyterian Church, Forbes & Murray Squirrel Hill
• PUSH will be promoting PA. Senate Bill 300/ HB 1660 at the event.
• Sen. Jim Ferlo, lead sponsor of SB is taking the lead in planning for the Dec. 14 event.

The SiCKO-CURE Road Show route will go through eleven states from November12th through December 14th. We have organizers and writers and film-makers and videographers riding the bus, people who've had a hard time getting any healthcare coverage, people from about six states --and they will greet you, video your story and help you get started on an organizing journey for national healthcare for everybody FOR LIFE!

This campaign is about privatization. How can we stop the privatization of every one of our public services? Now is the time to fight back and to expand the public sphere for all of us. We've waited way too long to get the insurance companies and drug companies out of control of our healthcare system. No more waiting! We want to control our own healthcare! As the great cartoonist, John Jonik suggested, we should just say, "Thank you, insurance companies, but we can handle our own healthcare. "

The first road show has a core team of people making the entire 3,000 mile trip from Nov.11th in Chicago to Dec.14th ending up in Pittsburgh. Others are following on a part of the route in their own vehicles. Join us on the route or from your home. Call your friends and relatives on the route.

Join us! Sign petitions, plan a party with your neighbors to watch "SiCKO" and plan how to get a national healthcare system for your family and all of us. We'll stop in many towns and villages and hand out materials and talk to people. We will have wide screen DVD's with us so that you can purchase them and show the film to as many people as possible, and get involved in this campaign for guaranteed quality healthcare for all.
