Dear Friend,
This Saturday, November 8 at 7pm at the University of Pittsburgh in Titusville, the independently produced film “Blindspot” will be screened in Henne Auditorium on our campus. We want to invite you and your friends to attend.

“Blindspot” is a documentary that beautifully addresses the issue of peak oil which most analysts think is within only 2 or 3 years of arriving. Its consequences on American life could be devastating.

Since the corporate media is not talking about peak oil, we here at UPT thought we would begin a conversation locally in conjunction with the 150th year since the first modern oil well was drilled near Titusville.
Oil 150 is helping us in getting the word out.

“Blindspot” premiered in September at the London Film Festival and in October at the Woodstock Film Festival, so Titusville is next on the list of premiere showings! Really! We have local attorney Kemp Scales to thank for all the work he did to bring the film and its production crew here.

In addition to the film, its director and producer, Amanda Zackem and Adolfo Dorning will be available for a question and answer session and a reception in our student union following the film.

We are extremely excited about this event and would love to have you come and invite others you may know of who might have an interest in this topic.

Admission is free.
