As many of you are aware, California voters voted to remove equal marriage
rights for GLBT citizens on November 4.

There is a national movement to stage a
protest this Saturday, November 15 at 1:30 PM EST. You can read more about this

We are trying to organize something here in Erie PA.
Rev. Steve Aschmann of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Erie has graciously offered to host an organizing meeting this Wednesday,
November 12 at 7 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Erie, 7180 New
Perry Highway, Erie PA. (It's 1/2 mile from the State St/Waterford exit off of
I-90.)

At this point, we would like to stage a
rally/demonstration downtown this Saturday at 1:30 PM. We will need to come up
with talking points, alert the media, and get folks to turn out. Any help that
you can give would be VERY much appreciated. We will also need people to turn
out on Saturday.

Please let us know your suggestions and how you would
like to be involved. We really need your support to make a
difference!
