Forwarding Marks notice. Dahlkempers opponent is a member of People
for Life and is using the "health care funds abortion" game to get
attention. This should be seen not just as a battle of the the anti-
abortion people, this guy is part of the effort to overturn health

Basically Mike Kelly the republican candidate for Congress (3rd
District) is planning a protest infront of Kathy Dahlkempers Office at
the same time. He is doing so, claiming that the Presidents Health
Care legislation will be expanding abortions and we know that that IS
NOT TRUE. See the distortion from their facebook posting, which is
included below Diana's notice about the counter protest (supporting
Congresswoman Dahlkemper). Let all try to be there for Kathy!

Remember that Erie TV stations love hand made posters. I don't know
why but they do. MAKE SOME....Lets make sure the message about truth
and lies gets to the media.

There will be a demonstration at the office of Congresswoman Kathy
Dahlkemper this Thursday to protest Dahlkemper's ongoing campaign
to cover up her pro-abortion vote for President Obama's health care
bill and the largest expansion of abortion in the United States since
Roe v. Wade.

Several people called our office today to alert us to a mailing they
had
just received from Dahlkemper. One of the calls came from a People
for Life board member, who said she was so furious when she read
the mailing that her hands were shaking.

Describing herself in the mailing as "100 percent pro-life,"
Dahlkemper insists that an executive order written by President
Obama "prohibits any federal money from being spent on abortions."
Dahlkemper also claims that she has ensured that "seniors will not
face any cuts to Medicare services under the health care plan,"
implying that the $500 billion dollars top be cut from Medicare will
be
offset entirely by eliminating "administrative waste, fraud, and
abuse."

As to her self-endorsement as "100 percent pro-life," we at People for
Life know that proper priorities, not mere opinions are what matter,
and that "actions speak louder than words." Dahlkemper, whatever
her honest opinions, decided that the lives of unborn children are
negotiable and that it would be just fine to pawn them off for the
good
of society as she perceives it. She voted for a plan that will make
abortion more readily available to tens of millions of Americans. This
Obama / Dahlkemper plan will also force many Americans of both
genders and all ages to make symbolic health insurance payments
expressly for the killing of unborn children.

Dahlkemper cannot change the simple facts of the matter, no matter
how many slick, expensive mailings she sends out at taxpayer
expense. The public -- especially pro-life Americans -- need to know
the truth about the Obama Health Care Law. But Dahlkemper is
obviously determined that they get nothing but misrepresentations,
distortions, and falsehoods, and she has hundreds of thousands, if
not millions of dollars at her disposal to accomplish her goals (and
those of the pro-abortion Democratic congressional leadership).

Help us make sure the truth is heard! Some of our most effective
means for doing this are Public Demonstrations. The local news
media will cover demonstrations -- if enough people participate.

People for Life could simply issue a statement that reflects your
views
and opinions and not bother with demonstrations, hoping that the
news media will report our statement. But our community will not
know that our views are your views unless you get involved
personally.

Demonstrations are not just for fun, for blowing off steam, or for
showing "how pro-life" someone is. They are a serious tool used to
accomplish serious goals. Please help!See More
