Barack Obama signed
NDAA on New Years Eve (protest at offices of congressmembers, write letters to editor, call talk radio, donate to ACLU, tie it to Gitmo, make some noise about this ugly thing).

On the tenth anniversary of Guantanamo, I would like to share my five-star rating of
Karen Greenberg's "Least Worst Place: Guantanamo's First 100 Days", which describes the first 100 days of Gitmo and little-known account of the commander who tried his best to make it adhere to Geneva conventions, military protocol and human decency. Also describes Rumsfeld hand-picking Erie County Judge Michael Dunlavey to change it into the exact opposite.
