Nov 6 – Sister Joan Chittister, 6-8 p.m.; Pogue Student Center Multipurpose Room, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania; “American Women and the Rest of the World: No Woman Left Behind.” Free, at this point may be standing room only.

Nov 7 – Wrong was date given for Ringling protest. It took place on Nov 2. Organizers gave the wrong date, and had no working phone number or email address to contact them with. Come on guys, lose the ditziness please!

Nov 8 – NWPA American Federation of Labor fundraiser at Jr’s Last Laugh 14th & State Ticket sale proceeds benefit NWPA ALF Scholarship Fund. You must mention the NWPA ALF when ordering your tickets– advance reservations required.

Nov 8 -Thomas Merton Center 40th Anniversary Party with Medea Benjamin Pittsburgh, PA (Mike Michaelson from Erie is looking for riders to go to the event with him. Nov 8 – “Checkpoint” (2003) (Titusville film series) A 2003 documentary film by Israeli filmmaker Yoav Shamir, showing the everyday humiliations experienced by Palestinian civilians in their interactions with Israeli soldiers at the various checkpoints they have to pass through in their daily travels to and from their homes. 7- 9 p.m. in Rm G-5 of the Broadhurst Science Bldg. at Pitt Titusville.
